Seribu Islands Optimistic Budget Absorption to Reach 85 Percent

Seribu Islands Regency Administration is targeting budget absorption to touch 85 percent by the end of this year.

 We're optimistic to touch 85 percent

"Total budget this year is almost Rp 400 billion. We're optimistic to touch 85 percent," said Budi Utomo, Regent of Seribu Islands when being interviewed by Beritajakarta.com, Monday (8/15) afternoon.

Until now, his party still continues to try increase budget absorption.

Basuki: This Year's Budget Absorption Is Better

This is because, budget absorption from SKPD only reached 23.4 percent from total budget by Rp 400 billion or Rp 93.6 trillion.

"From evaluation results, most of the physical activities is currently in the bidding process, such as school ship procurement, water facility construction and so forth. All of this is still in the bidding process," he expressed.

He also has asked all SKPDs to speed up auction process.

"If it cannot be conducted, the budget will be used for more important activities," he stressed.

He added, budget allocation for Seribu Islands Regency is about Rp 23 billion and the rest are still in activity program from SKPD/UKPD.
